OTP Bank

OTP Bank Bot is an official Telegram-based personal banking assistant for OTP Bank customers in Ukraine. It helps users locate the nearest ATMs, bank branches, and partner terminals, while also providing real-time exchange rates, current promotions, and news. The bot can inform users about their loan debt balance and minimum payment amounts, and supplies contact information for the OTP Bank Information Center. The bot is gated behind a phone number verification step: upon sending /start, users receive a Ukrainian-language greeting and must share their phone number to unlock the full feature set. This ensures that only verified bank customers can access sensitive account-related information. Monetisation is absent — the bot is a free value-added service provided by OTP Bank to its existing customer base. Its purpose is to reduce call-centre load and branch visits by surfacing common banking queries directly inside Telegram. The primary audience is OTP Bank retail customers in Ukraine who prefer managing everyday banking queries through a familiar messaging interface rather than a dedicated mobile app or a physical visit.
