OfflineID

Your identity, information, and privacy shouldn’t be connected to your connection. Say hello to portable user profiles that work without internet or an active phone connection. OfflineID is the foundational block of Offline Protocol, a pioneering censorship resistant ecosystem of payments, messaging, and information sharing apps that use resilient alternative networking without internet or telecom signals. OfflineID are offchain usernames that resolve to various pertinent user information utilized for enabling Offline Protocol's ecosystem-wide experiences. Offline ID is built on the following premise: - Identity: Usernames act as your universal social identity across all applications. A seamless way to carry your profile and preferences wherever you go. - Information: Usernames hold essential user information—device connections, preferences, and social ties that make offline discovery effortless. - Privacy: Your identity is secure and private. You control your data and visibility to ensure safe, peer-to-peer interactions that are encrypted and trusted.
